What are skills bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps offer funded* flexible courses for up to 16 weeks, allowing people to build sector-specific skills and launch their careers in energy efficiency and retrofit roles. They are designed to ensure adults can retrain and upskill whatever their starting point, providing a clear line of site to a new role, opportunity or contract.
You will be eligible to apply if you can provide proof of living or working in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority area. The Skills Bootcamps include flexible online guided learning designed to work around your schedule, workshops and assignments.
*Fully funded for unemployed, self-employed and career changers. For learners put forward by their company (co-funded) the employer pays match funding up to 10% for an SME (1-249 employees) and up to 30% for a Large Enterprise (250+ employees).
