In partnership with Hertfordshire Futures, we’re offering funded training opportunities to help you gain essential retrofit qualifications, grow your skills, and work towards TrustMark Accreditation. Whether you’re entering the sector or advancing your career, you’ll benefit from expert-led learning and ongoing professional support every step of the way.
This dual qualification program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to assess a home’s energy efficiency, provide recommendations for improving its energy performance, and includes full accreditation on graduation as a Retrofit Assessor!
Who’s this for? Ideally, you will have experience or interest in the built-environment and housing sector or are looking to make a career change into retrofit.
Duration and Content: 8-week intensive course. Weeks 1–4 focus on the DEA course, and Weeks 5–8 on the Retrofit Assessor course. The programme combines live teaching sessions, online study, and portfolio building.
Assessment: One written assignment per module. Final professional discussion.
TrustMark Accreditation: Learners will be awarded TrustMark Accreditation for the role of Retrofit Assessor through the new TRA/Sterling Accreditation scheme.
Retrofit coordinators manage the PAS 2035 process throughout a project. They are critical for ensuring compliance with procurement, specification and delivery of all measures in domestic retrofit projects.
Who is this for: Experienced built-environment professionals with management experience and knowledge of PAS 2035. Ideal for those looking to take the next step in their retrofit career.
Duration and Content: 16-week intensive course, requiring 10 hours per week self-study with a 4-hour, expert-led Live Session every Tuesday via Microsoft Teams.
Assessment: One written assignment per module, a case study and final professional discussion
TrustMark Accreditation: Learners will be awarded TrustMark Accreditation for the role of Retrofit Coordinator through the new TRA/Sterling Accreditation scheme.
