Our Qualifications

The Retrofit Academy are the UK’s only provider of accredited training for Retrofit Coordinators.  We have developed a comprehensive course in coordination with Open College Network West Midlands.

Built environment professionals from a range of backgrounds can train to become Retrofit Coordinators by studying for the Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management with The Retrofit Academy. Once qualified they can be approved to deliver whole house retrofit projects, embracing industry best practice.

  • About the Course

    PAS 2035 is driving demand for appropriately qualified built environment professionals.  It specifies that all domestic retrofit projects need to use an Accredited Retrofit Coordinator.  It also stipulates that all Retrofit Coordinators must hold the Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management before they can join one of the TrustMark-approved Schemes.

    Built environment professionals from a range of backgrounds can train to become Retrofit Coordinators by studying for the Level 5 Diploma  with The Retrofit Academy. Once qualified, you will be well-equipped to embrace industry best practice, and can be approved to deliver whole house retrofit projects.

    We have a variety of ways you can study for  the Diploma:

    • eLearning – study entirely online and at your own pace
    • Blended Learning – study online but benefit from our tutor-led bootcamp sessions
    • Fast-Track – study in small cohorts and benefit from tutor and peer support
