Dr Peter Rickaby Scholarship Awarded
The Retrofit Academy CIC has awarded a Scholarship to Rebecca Hart, a Technical Project Manager in the Energy Team at Nottingham City Homes (NCH). As part of the award, Rebecca will receive a fully-funded place on our Level 5 Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management blended learning course.
Rebecca initially started as an electrical apprentice at Nottingham City Homes in 2005. She progressed into various technical and supervisory roles up until this year and is now a Technical Project Manager within the Energy Team. Rebecca recently shared her experiences with other social landlords via a Retrofit Academy workshop and demonstrated a real passion for improving lives through retrofit.

“Not only do I believe passionately about the future of our planet, I care about our tenants and their ability to stay warm and healthy without being in fuel poverty.”, she said.
“I’m delighted to have been awarded a Dr Peter Rickaby Scholarship on the Retrofit Coordinator course. I work in social housing delivering complex deep retrofit projects, so this qualification will really help me to do this in a more efficient and effective way.”
We are looking forward to having Rebecca training with us at the Academy and supporting her to further develop her career.
