Access funded training across Cheshire and Warrington to become a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Retrofit Assessor! In partnership with Cheshire and Warrington Futures, we are offering opportunities to gain key retrofit training, qualifications as well as continued professional support and TrustMark Accreditation!
This dual qualification program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to assess a home’s energy efficiency, provide recommendations for improving its energy performance, and includes full accreditation on graduation as a Retrofit Assessor!
Who’s this for? Ideally, you will have experience or interest in the built-environment and housing sector or are looking to make a career change into retrofit.
Duration and Content: 8-week fast-track programme – You will be required to attend two full weeks of learning on Week 1 and Week 5 of the course, an onsite practical demonstration, as well as independent study via our online learning platform of up to 20 hours per week in the weeks in between.
Assessment: One written assignment per module. Final professional discussion.
TrustMark Accreditation: Learners will be awarded TrustMark Accreditation for the role of Retrofit Assessor through the new TRA/Sterling Accreditation scheme.
