Initiatives
The Retrofit Academy’s primary focus is on social housing and local authority-led retrofit programmes. These include the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), and the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG), which are schemes that have the principles of PAS 2035 at their hearts.
The Retrofit Academy works with government agencies nationwide through:
We deploy government-funded initiatives, such as Skills Bootcamps, to upskill the industry
We work with local authorities to build a retrofit supply chain and labour force locally to capture social value
We manage and deliver large-scale skills programmes to benefit local communities
