Education

We work with further and higher education institutions nationwide to support them into the retrofit training sector.

Our franchised Retrofit Academy Hubs receive ‘train the trainer’ support and high-quality teaching resources, and benefit from our retrofit expertise.

Academy Hubs are able to offer local people first-class training, supporting retrofit projects and creating local jobs.

How We Work with
Education Providers

The educational sector has not kept pace with employer demand for retrofit skills – and it’s not surprising as the barriers to entry are significant and oftentimes, unclear.

Becoming a Retrofit Academy Hub brings FE and HE institutions a fast-track, low-risk route to offering a comprehensive retrofit curriculum. It also addresses many of the practical barriers that stand in the way, including tutor and assessor availability, lack of employer demand, and a shortfall in appropriate training materials.
