Level 3 Award in Domestic Energy Assessment and Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment

A domestic energy assessor (DEA) is a professional who conducts energy assessments, producing energy performance certificates (EPCs) for residential properties. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to assess a home’s energy efficiency and provide recommendations for improving its energy performance. It includes full accreditation on graduation.

Who’s this for?

Ideally, you will have experience or interest in the built-environment and housing sector or are looking to make a career change into retrofit.

Duration and Content:

8-week fast-track programme
You will be required to attend two full weeks of learning on Week 1 and Week 5 of the course, an onsite practical demonstration, as well as independent eLearning study of up to 20 hours per week in the weeks in between.

LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management

Retrofit coordinators manage the PAS 2035 process throughout a project. They are critical for ensuring compliance with procurement, specification and delivery of all measures in domestic retrofit projects.

16-week fast-track programme
Each week you will be required to attend a 4-hour virtual expert-led session and complete 4 hours of independent study.

Assessment:

One written assignment per module
