What does good retrofit look like?
A Retrofit Coordinator case study with our Retrofit Coordinator of the year: Geordie Stewart!
The Retrofit Academy has now trained over 1800 Retrofit Coordinators nationwide! At the inaugural Retrofit Academy Awards, when it came the moment to choose just one, it was down to our panel of judges to decide who stood out from the crowd when it came to delivering on the retrofit challenge.

He is a trained, qualified Retrofit Coordinator and manages the Cosy Homes team who are based in Charlbury, Oxfordshire. Geordie’s story about his recent project, retrofitting a 140-year-old house, summarised perfectly what an important role the retrofit coordinator plays in changing lives for the better.
“The joy in the eyes of the clients when we handed it back… It was a very emotional moment. I think my eyes were welling up as well! Very, very satisfying. So, I’m constantly encouraging people to be retrofit coordinators.“
